What materials are the Spoon Rest made from?

The body of the Spoon Rest is crafted from cast aluminum with a durable, non-toxic ceramic coating. The base features a high-temperature silicone footpad that is safe up to 450ºF.

Does the Spoon Rest have other uses?

Absolutely! While it’s perfect for holding utensils, the Spoon Rest was designed with versatility in mind. It fits neatly into our Knife & Utensil Set Metal Prep Tray, doubles as a coaster, and works as a catch-all tray for jewelry or other small items. Flip it over, and the silicone base transforms into a trivet that can safely hold hot pans up to 450ºF. Thanks to its durable construction, it’s built to handle the heat—just remember that it can get hot when used around the stovetop, so oven mitts are recommended for safe handling.

How should I clean the Spoon Rest?

We recommend hand washing your Spoon Rest with warm, soapy water. It should not be placed in the dishwasher, as it may damage the adhesive used on the silicone footpad and affect its durability.
